Joseph S. Gracia began his career working as a carpenter’s apprentice in high school before studying Building Construction Technology and Construction Management in college. He later served as a Construction Superintendent with one of the nation’s top home builders and went on to work as a Construction Manager overseeing residential building projects.
Joseph later advanced into corporate leadership with the Midwest’s largest home improvement retail chain, rising from Store Manager to Corporate Project Manager.
After returning to Texas, he worked as a professional home inspector for several years, gaining valuable insight into how homes perform over time and where construction defects most commonly occur.
He is also the author of The Residential Construction Superintendent’s Bible, a guide to professional residential construction oversight and project management.
This combined experience in field construction, project leadership, and home inspection allows Joseph to approach every custom home with a level of precision, durability, and long term thinking that few builders possess.

After returning to Texas, Joseph worked as a professional home inspector for several years, gaining rare insight into how homes perform over time and where construction problems most often occur.
This background allows him to approach every custom home with a deeper level of awareness, precision, and attention to detail.
Joseph brings together decades of experience across every level of residential construction, from hands on carpentry and field supervision to project management and home inspection.
He is also the author of The Residential Construction Superintendent’s Bible, a guide to professional residential construction management and field leadership.
Unlike large production builders, Joseph builds only one home at a time. This allows each project to receive direct builder supervision, careful craftsmanship, and the attention to detail required to create a home that will stand the test of time.
